Contribuisci feedbackIncredible!!! All the food was prepared beautifully. Perfect eggs Benedict, which is hard to find! Great presentation of all the food. The chefs were really in top of making sure everything was changed often so it was hot and fresh. The salmon with lobster was amazing! My kids loved watching the chef make ice cream right in front of them using liquid nitrogen. I finished my meal with a homemade waffle, bacon jam, bananas and ice cream made to order! Honestly to die for!!
Variety of food option...good food...staff is very nice....but the highlight was the ambience of the restaurant...It is very close the airport (only 2 minutes walk)..Would love to visit again....tried indian dish - Butter Chicken.,and it was as good as the one made in North India.Service was bit slow but I could spent a good time with colleagues.
I am a bourbon fan, and was pleasantly surprised at the good selection. I noticed they also had good selections of other spirits. This is unusual for a Canadian facility.The food was very good, but expensive.The environment is a bit cold, but there is a cozy library were service is available.The staff is very attentive.
I've been to the airport 3 times in the last few days with people coming and going. Last night was the most pleasant due to a delayed flight. We wandered to the Renaissance Hotel which is just a short indoor walk from the airline check in counters and we found Halo. It was open at 11:30 pm and it had quite a few people in it. I was astonished at the decor, it may not be everyone's taste but to me it was funky and new wave. It just screamed out tasteful upscale 80s. We had nachos and wine. Both were good. We had the house wine (boring I know...but we weren't sure how much time we had). Anyway, if I have to go again to pick someone up I'd be inclined to go early and stop here for a bite and a beverage. Oh and the service was delightful too, attentive while uninterrupting.
I wasn't sure if there was anything for vegetarians but was told there was soup of the day (lentil on this day) and spinach/mushroom panini. Both were sensational! The restaurant was a bit hard to find from the airport itself but I'm glad I persevered, just go upstairs to the departure level and then through the doors to the Renaissance Hotel. The restaurant atmosphere is great as well with a huge TV screen.
