Again 10 minutes later, hubby popped in to see what was happening, she again said 2 minutes , after another 5 mintes, without even an acknowledgement, or offer of a drink, we gave up, and went next door. Very poor service, and a waste of our time.
Tucked back in an alleyway in Megève, this delightful oyster bar is the sister restaurant of the Bar à Huitre Jane in Noirmoutier in Brittany. Jane told me she winters in Megève and summers in Noirmoutier...Vive La France! Jane knows her oysters and the wines she offers with them. PROS: Reasonably priced, quaint and charming atmosphere, exceptional oysters, superb wine. Jane is most pleasant and gracious too.
Location is quite trendy by the port and you pay for it. Oysters are ok (a bit salty) and it is expensive for what you get. You do pay the really nice location by the port. We had a pleasant time anyway.
Beautiful place, charming quick and efficient pick, excellent seafood, a flat light on the drinks a little expensive but it is a pleasure to eat noon or evening on a pretty terrace in front of the port of the herbaudiere
At first glance, everything to charm, a nice little bar a nice decor a beautiful view on the port of the herbaudière a very pleasant and very pro boss. And very quickly the disappointment with the ridiculously small container for the prices practiced notably the algae tartar at 12 euros in a mini ramequin, it is purely the flight!!! idem for the fish rillettes !! the 6 euro chablis glass served in balloons!!! short a salty note of the never seen even at bets! Stop if you want to make you have ...
