Panera Bread - Norfolk

That citrus Asian crunch salad and the green envy smoothie... ooh la la . My new found loves. Perfect pairing too! Taste like heaven. Im hooked!

I have to say, when I opened the Asian sesame salad with chicken and saw it, I was a bit skeptical. It appeared to be only lettuce, crunchy noodles, almond slivers and a few (3 4 narrow, sliced pieces of chicken (approximately 1" x 2" and the dressing. Boy, was I pleasantly surprised! There apos;s so much flavor packed into the dressing and chicken, and it goes along with the other ingredients perfectly. If you are a fan of Asian inspired salads and just want something light, yet filling, this is an amazing pick! Not sure how I feel about the chicken broccoli teriyaki bowl. I think it may have been a bit overcooked because it tasted "mushy". It reminded me of a microwave meal. The brownies are my favorite bakery item soft, sweet and rich melt in your mouth. I break them into smaller portions bc I enjoy eating healthy, but suffer from an intense sweet tooth.

I love this place! The only reason it apos;s not 5 stars is because they sent me a spoiled greek yogurt on a recent order, but everyone is entitled to a slip up every now and again. Other than that, their food and their service is amazing! I order delivery from them quite a bit bc I work nearby. They apos;ve only had the one slip up so far. The Sausage, Scrambled Egg Cheese on Brioche was really good. The Spinach Artichoke Souffle is ABSOLUTELY DIVINE! It melts in your mouth. If you ever taste it, you apos;ll probably be addicted, so be very careful! :

The banana was a little old, and my bagel was not sliced toasted or had cream cheese in the bag. Being that Panera is so expensive they should really have fresh bananas and should be toasting their bagels and putting cream cheese in the bag for their paying customers.

I ordered the Sandwich and Soup/Mac (bacon/avocado half sandwich and tomato soup). When I tell you I almost cried when I ate the last spoonful of that soup, I speak the truth. Phenomenal. I also love how they chop the bacon for the sandwich so everything feels cohesive in the mouth. I am very pleased with this order from Panera and will surely become a regular.
