The road leading up to the restaurant is free and the last 20 kilometers are unpaved but easy to navigate. The hotel is closed in 2020, but the DNT hut is still open. The service is good, but there were some minor issues with cleanliness.
This restaurant is a cozy spot to stop for the night or take a break during a hike in Jotunheimen. It is the DNT's oldest cabin. "Betjent" means they provide three hearty meals and any other meals requested. Guests can also fill their thermos and pack with delicious Norwegian mountain cuisine. I highly recommend it.
This restaurant offers stunning and tasty dishes made from locally sourced ingredients in a warm and welcoming environment. It is definitely worth visiting.
As with most of the DNT cabins, this was a great experience. The food was amazing, and the staff outstanding. I was here during the Vinjerock festival, so I only visited for dinner, breakfast and drinks. Even though there was a lot more people than usual, they still managed to provide the unique DNT experience which cannot be described by words (a combination of great hospitality, and feeling at home). Great!
Amazing mature
