Chinta - North Adelaide

Sadly Chinta was a big miss for the group of five that I was part of this Sunday.

Wow! This place is amazingly popular! Parking in the area is extremely limited due to main roads and residential zoning but we persevered and managed one

Chinta has relocated to North Perth! The new location is bigger and better, but still has the great elements from the previous location - indoor and outdoor

I have been to Chinta many times over the past year for brunch, lunch and high tea and always loved the experience. Today I went for lunch to celebrate my birthday with the family and I was so disappointed. I know it always takes a while for the drinks to be served, and I can be patient, but today was ridiculous. We were served the juices fairly soon after ordering, but had to ask for the two bottled beers minutes later. Six of the seven meals were served together and the final meal arrived minutes later. We finished with slices of cake and chai, which sadly came minutes apart. When the generously sized chai lattes were finally served we were told that we had minutes remaining before needing to vacate the table and settle the bill. The chai was delicious, but hard to appreciate in less than minutes. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning again.

Went here this morning to celebrate my mother’s birthday. Very happy with the service we received, plus I enjoyed the coffee. Recommended.
