Contribuisci feedbackWe would have liked to do the disarmament, but with our little one we decided to have the a la carte. we started with some oysters and panning meerrettich. the oysters were really fresh and the scallops were excellent! smells also amazing. followed by the duck for my head and lamb for my engaged pornstar. boiled to perfection, melt in their mouth, all these food comments they can think. we finished our meal with the chocolate dome again perfectly! but to complete it all is our amazing waitress emma, who made us feel so comfortable and all our strange questions answered one of the best restaurants we had in a very long time. oh and I told you that the weeping were spectacular!? excellent culinary experience, but worth it.
We had luck to experience the food in the restaurant before the current closing for the renovation. the food was good, but the portions made us wish more. there is an attempt to get very refined, but not to hit the brand, and wait workers too time were a little casual in view of the atmosphere and price of the food. the neger was exceptional, but very expensive. views about the owal are beautiful, but not sure that they are worthy of the attached price day for the meal. hopefully after the renovation can appear a new enthusiast and it can become the a restaurant that tries to be.
With trim menus there is no point to think naiw, they will love any dish or any pairing. for the Seppeltsfield menu we loved many aspekte and yes, we asked others, but what we find so great over five regions. is the fun to try with the team to explore and ask with feedback and to understand more about the wee and thoughts behind the menu. during this visit, the venison and the beef-ribs dishes were breathtaking and the double Shiraz pairing of the “East” and “Westing” varieties added another dimension that the westing won! the venison plating took us directly back to Scandinavia only spectacularly with the duck leber parfait accompaniment. very clever. Surprisingly, the outstanding wine of the rosé was and it was beautifully paired with the thun-fish dish, although our personal preference was that the uptake of black olives for the tender thun was somewhat too strong. revealing the menu the Parsnip jam served with the cheese! a very small thing to love, but now we will need it with each cheese plate forward....if only one opportunity was to buy some five regions parsnip jam away: complete traces for pascal as always.
We came to dinner in the mai for the lambrook wine menu. we decided to have a vegetarian disarmament and a normal one because I don't love fish. the presentation of eating was nice and the service was really good. the wine...and the foods were extensive and well divided. for us some of the vegetarian options were not well balanced. they were pretty big parts and we were glad we had the opportunity to share between us. we did not love the BBB cheese, but understand that not all wineries have a suitable dessert wine that makes a cheese course more sense. it is a beautiful location and very special and we would go back if the menu attracted.
We had long been waiting to try this place. the ambiente and the service are excellent; the tasting menu is a good length with generous portion sizes. in the standout dress contain the abalone on crispy chicken skin (one of the snacks) and calf carpaccio. the. two larger dishes (tooth fish and duck) were both strongly seasoned, with a tad too much mosg for my taste. could have used a bit more crispy fresh green. a very pleasant meal.
