Paesano - North Adelaide

Such a great night !!!! Apparently new owners. Loved the food, ordered the banquet and was impressed with all it's delights, especially the Gnocchi with the wine going down beautifully also.  This restaurants decor was both modern yet cozy with wonderful service provided throughout the night. Would most certainly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for yummy Italian cuisine.

This restaurant has new owners and has changed its name to Paesano Cucina . Great restaurant quality food in a casual setting . Still great for coffee and cake, the new chef is Awesome!

Extremely disappointing. We were first given the "old" children's menu. Our kids had chosen what they wanted from the menu only to be told they didn't have schnitzels on the "new" kids menu....anyone with kids knows how hard it is to get kids to change their minds! We got over that hurdle, and then when we went to order, was told they were out of both menu items that the adults ordered. We left at this point - the menu was uninspiring anyway. The menus were dirty, ripped pieces of paper, and the decor was dated. We used to frequent here a few years ago for breakfast & they used to be quite good. Clearly a change in ownership has occurred, and not for the better.

Good service, food not so much. Eggs and mushrooms arrived fridge cold on all of our plates (3x people)! When staff made aware, it appears they simply placed the plate under the warmer rather than remaking the dish or replacing the cold items. As such mushrooms arrived dry and tasteless and eggs rubbery. Chai was delicious as was the cold pressed juices. But the meals really let us down. Been here many times before a couple years ago and have always been impressed. Today was a real let down. Doubt we'll return to this Cafe unless they pick up their game.

I had some spare time up my sleeve before going to the cricket so i walked around to see where i wanted to go for breakfast. O'Connell doesn't offer much for breakfast so i found myself at the front of paesano and it was pretty packed so i decided to give it another go. I was a bit hesitant on returning back to this cafe as i was unsatisfied with my last experience some months ago. Breakfast was good, coffee was pretty good, overall was happy with my experience compared to my previous. Food took about 25 minutes to arrive but it was packed.
