From the sports bar including an outdoor no smoking area for the sports bar. Also the main bar area which has food service also and includes an outdoor area for dining or drinking. Plus the main dining area which includes indoor and outdoor seating and is table service
Sunday lunch. The main restaurant has a distinct old school/country pub feel about it despite being so close and open to the main bar. Service, whilst a little slow when we were there, is good without being outstanding. Wait time was a bit long however we could see the main bar was busy with people watching football and the restaurant was around 60% occupied. Food was excellent. Eye fillet for myself and crab/prawn pasta for my wife along with two kids meals. The chips were so good I ordered an extra bowl after my main course. We all were very happy with our choices so thank you to the chef and his choice of offerings. Last one thank you for having a Gluten Free beer available to buy at the bar. As someone who is Gluten intolerant this is greatly appreciated.
Oh my goodness, the beef and guiness pie with salad and chips was absolutely beautiful and a very generous serve. We had 3 of these meals and each of us raved about it. I even have enough of the meat mixture left over to make home made pies, definitely will be back
We were fortunate enough to get a Sunday booking despite the current restrictions and the Sunday roast definitely didn't disappoint. As a Brit, I'm always searching for a good Sunday roast that feels like home and would say that this is the best one I've had in Perth. The lamb was tender and not fatty, homemade yorkshires were impressive and the gravy was delicious. Potatoes could have been crispier but on the whole was excellent. Coupled with a rich bottle of red, it was a great escape from the (never-ending) rain outside. We finished with the sticky date pudding with ice cream which was rich and indulgent. For only $25 for the roast it's definitely worth the money and the staff here were incredibly friendly, attentive and kind. Will be returning to try the mulled wine next time!
Went here for the Melbourne cup lunch, love the new renovations! Inglewood platter was delicious especially the chicken wings!
