Working with Erica was a pleasure, and our guests absolutely loved the grilled cheeses. We decided to have three types: The OG, Long Tall Texan, and my personal favorite, the Via 206. The whole experience went seamlessly, and we highly recommend them for your next event!
We’d seen images of Burro’s toasties when we were researching street food in Austin so we were keen to visit. We ordered a Waylon Willie (jack and cheddar cheese, with caramelised onions, pepperoncini and maple bacon sauce). Entirely by own our mistake, we thought this would include small pepperonis, but pepperoncinis are actually chilli peppers so my wife picked hers out. The cheese and bread were great, but overall the flavour of the maple sauce was just too sweet and kind of overwhelmed the sandwich. I’d say that some of the other menu options might have been better, but all of them had some sweet element in too so I’m not sure on that. Not a bad toastie, just not what we’d hoped for.
My friend ordered a sandwich with gluten free bread (he has celiac) and the employee decided to substitute with regular bread without notifying him. To top it all off, she still charged him the upcharge for gluten free bread. Didn't even offer a refund. Not acceptable.

One of my favorite food trucks in Austin. You can't go wrong with any item on the menu. My personal favorite is the Via 206 with the sweetness of the fig glaze.
