It was probably a great place in its day. Food was mediocre, at best. Steak was way overcooked. Check out other options.

We had a fantastic time at Texas Chili Parlor! A great stop just a quick walk from the Capitol, we sat near a sweet and regular and had delicious food! A mystery person even covered our bill!

Bean chili is flavorful and the white pork green chili is good. Their burgers are 1/3 lbs. I liked this joint for their music selection and vibe.

Hands down the best chili in Austin and best place to party before UT games. Love me som Pepe and Zoob and the rest of the staff

Great atmosphere! Love all the Texas dive bar decorations and the prices are great, tasty margaritas.
