Canberra Parklands Central Apartments

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The equipment in the room was generous and intelligent, including a current TV in every living area – one of them was huge. There were also 100s of included streaming movies and other online info/services. Wifi was strong, able to cope well with Zoom Conferencing. Parking was comfortable and safe. The hotel was well visited when we were there, what on satisfied repetition customers. There were some construction work in the next lot when we were there, but these were not loud in our room (116 and even then, the sound did not exist. The two persons desk and chairs (pictured in the room) were robust, comfortable and well made for work. All we need was present: microwave, iron, spacious bar fridge, iron, ironing board, hairdryer, washing machine, laundry fluid and clear instructions, tea, coffee (incl. decay, sugar, plentiful dishes and cutlery, tea towel, extra blanket, etc., and everything was clean and neat. I really appreciated that... somehow the lighting was warm, not cold and hard.

I found it always from a good standard and very comfortable location. Stay here next time I'm in Canberra. A few very small inconveniences a night light that does not work, and the draw cable on one of the blinds was broken so that it could not be increased. Otherwise, amenities were very good.

The location of this place is excellent. It is located near Dickson's food area with so many different restaurants to choose from. But the rooms could do with a little love. Our toilet seat was broken and you couldn't open the blinds. The sofas were also uncomfortable. But I'd just stay here for his location again.

We chose to stay due to it being close to provide some family support. The location suited well, the air conditioning was very comfortable mid winter, the internet was really good and underground locked parking with lift access was good. The mattress on the bed needed replacing it was sagging and not supportive. Another room was offered but the bed in that room was not much better. There was a full sized fridge and a smart TV. The cooking facilities for a one bedroom apartment were limited two hot plates with room for one pot at a time only; and a microwave. This would be fine for a very short stay. Servicing of the room was supposed to be daily but that did not always happen. It suited our purposes for this time
