We went to register and waited while a man placed his order, then checkout turned and went away. Two more employees came up, they all talked, turned around and went away by helping us in a moment. The original lady came back to check us out. The bill had added a convenience fee 4%. The memo on account said convenience fee would be added if you pay with the card and if you pay with cash, you would get a 4% discount. I paid in cash and asked for the discount. I was informed that she cancelled the 4 % fee and that that was the cash discount. After 10 minutes waiting, I was not happy and the 3 employees were rude.

Breck's has long been in a beautiful niche and convenient location in North Charleston. Appropriate prices, good service, and I really love that many of the menus have remained unchanged for years. We are always impressed by how good we had for the price we paid. Also the best blue cheese I've ever had.

A new place, Brecks Steakhouse for dinner. I have the fried pig dogs with loaded potatoes and Mac and cheese. OMG was delicious!!! Everything was cooked for perfection. The service was excellent and the boss was impeccable.

Food is good. It was a Saturday and they had been very busy. We love the fried mushrooms and the ranch and blue cheese are awesome. They were out of several menu items (and we can understand that on a busy Saturday). The fish was hot and fresh and all the other entrees were good too. We will definitely be back to try some other menu items.
