OMG it was TO DIE FOR! Sauce was creamy and delish! Waited for 10 minutes which is a bit longer than expected but was totally worth the wait! Will be back soon with my family as it seems to be a kid friendly cafe
The chips at this cafe are the best I have ever had in Perth. I was extremely impressed with the laid-back and friendly atmosphere. The portions of our meals and drinks were surprisingly generous for the price. We ordered an iced mocha, chai latte, milkshake, chicken sandwich, and chicken adobo. The iced mocha came with its own pot of chocolate sauce to add to the drink, and it was served in a large size. The chips were proper chips - fat and fluffy, and twice cooked to crispy perfection. While the presentation of our meals was not spectacular, the flavors more than made up for it. The service was smooth and incredibly fast - our meals were ready in less than 10 minutes from when we ordered. Thank you to the amazing staff - we will definitely be returning!
The restaurant has a great atmosphere and the staff is friendly. I like the variety of options on the menu. However, they really need to work on improving the coordination of orders. It took us over 20 minutes to receive our cakes, and even longer for a simple piece of toast, with everything coming out one at a time. It was a bit frustrating and the quality of the food was inconsistent. One croissant was barely warm while another, served 10 minutes later, had melted cheese and was perfect. They should consider changing their coffee beans. Despite these issues, I still enjoyed my experience and would consider returning.
My partner and I have been frequenting this restaurant since we were introduced to it by a family friend. They had received a voucher from Groupon for two breakfasts at a great price, so we decided to give it a try. The staff here are wonderful - they are attentive and friendly. The location is perfect, right by the beach, and there is even a safe spot to leave your dog. I always order the bruschetta because it's so delicious and the homemade sauce is excellent. The presentation is simple, but it fits the laid-back atmosphere of the cafe. It's a great little spot that is often overlooked, and it's a perfect place to bring visitors from abroad and show off the beautiful beach.
We always come here, but the last time we were the service and eating was bad, so I'm not sure what happened. the personal is always so charming, so we have come back today, but... has been abandoned. Even on Valentine's Day, we couldn't eat our lunch together, as my husband ended his fish-N-chips before my burger even got out. his fish-N-chips were soggy and served with chilli chopped under him? who serves chili with fish n-chips, they never use and he can also eat chili. my burger came late with the meat pattie burned and unpleasant. you get a high quality bark pattie, but it was chewing and gritty. the last visit we waited for dinner and were almost gone, but I'm sorry. we will not go back for a very long time and instead go to our local. it's just nice for a change to visit coogee beach and this caffe. please go back as they use to make her eat and make a real salad on the side instead of some green leaves that no one eats. so a shame as it used to eat a good old fashion house made delicious. the coffee was also super strong today and had to get extra milk. I feel disappointed!
