Been holidaying in Croyde for over 15 years, this was our first time at Hobbs, The food was delicious, good quality and reasonably priced. Came here on our first night in Croyde and had a brilliant meal here last Sunday. Shame to see some mixed reviews on here we couldn’t fault it! The food was brilliant and we were pleased with the service and value, too. Would definitely recommend it. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We went this evening booked under the name Warren starters chowder and the mussels were fantastic my wife’s lamb tagine was ok I had rack of ribs the worst food I have had the pleasure of paying for membrane on rear not barbecue but a barbecue sauce for dipping on side the ribs made Aldi look 5star .Waitress asked what I thought when I said the ribs were worse than something you can microwave at Tesco she grinned and said she would tell the chef probably meaning the microwave as no Charing on meat at all this wasn’t said in jest I paid the full bill as you pay your money and take your chance but I would never give them my money again go to the thatch pub 100% better
