The Green Chilli Indian - North Down

Ordered Meal for one for collection (Chicken Tikka (starter), Chicken Korma, Pilau Rice, Naan, Popadom £12.50. Small tub of mint sauce and chilli sauce included. Good size portions enough for 2 of us, plenty of chicken in the Korma nice flavour. Will definitely revisit in the future.

Wasn’t great.. food was bland. Poppadums were not fresh and main course was ok . Toilets were a disaster. So overall 6 out of 10 !

I took my daughter to The Green Chilli for a birthday dinner and we were very impressed. Our chicken chat starter and the mixed tandoori starter were tasty, but huge, so we may just share a starter next time. I had a chicken tikka dansak for my main course. My daughter had a chicken tikka balti, which she asked to be made extra hot. Our waiters were friendly, knowledgeable and attentive, and the chef came out to make sure my daughter was happy with the level of spice, which was a nice touch. Neither of us could finish the amount of food we had, and the restaurant was happy to box up the leftovers for us to take home.

This is a little hidden gem in Bangor that never ceases to impress us. Food was plentiful and very flavoursome. They dont skimp on ingredients with plenty of chicken and prawns in the dishes. A very plain environment but dont let that put you off as the food more than makes up for it. Also BYO so an added bonus.

Excellent food and service. Very friendly staff. We had two meals here whist we were visiting Bangor and we thought that all of the dishes we had were amazing! If we are ever in Bangor again, we shall return.
