The food was awful, asked for the weds special fish and chips but received fish goujons which were more like fish tails. Chips were overcooked, mushy peas were clearly out of a can. First visit under the new management. Nice welcome from the front of house staff who were very attentive. Had the Roast Beef, the beef was very nice but the roast potatoes and stuffing were the stars of the show, crispy and delicious. Most of us were defeated by the giant Yorkshire pudding and mash. Very gooey brownie with a quality ice cream for dessert. Price per person: £10–20
