JOKE!!!!! DO NOT GO. BOOKED ONLINE AND EVEN PHONED A FEW DAYS BEFORE ARRIVING TO CONFIRM TABLE. ARRIVED AT 4.15, NO LIGHTS ON ANYWHERE. SAT IN CAR WITH A COUSIN 70 YEAR WITH DEMENTIA) AND OUR WIFES, 4.30, THE TIME OF OUR MEAL, STILL NO LIGHTS, ALL IN DARKNESS AND LOCKED. PHONED TO SEE WHAT'S HAPPENING, NO ANSWER, JUST VOICEMAIL. IF YOU LIKE SITTING IN DARK CARPARK AND BEING LET DOWN BY UNPROFESSIONAL CONDUCT, BE MY GUEST! IF NOT, AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! JOKE!!!!

Good service and good food, just needs a little bit of staff training to make it excellent.

After searching online for a location between Market Harborough and Burbage this was a little gem. The young gentleman that met me on arrival was very polite, helpful and informative. He took my order for a drink at the bar and offered to bring it to me in the lounge which was a lovely touch. My friend arrived and immediately he arrived to ask her for her order for a drink. It was pasta night but could also order from the a la carte menu. There was a good choice and offered good value for money. We ordered fish and chips and a carbonara whilst sitting in the lounge. We were informed when the food was ready and were offered further drinks once seated. The dining area and lounge were both decorated very tastefully very comfortable. A lovely quiet atmosphere. My friend and I really enjoyed our food. The fish was very fresh, tasty and very well presented. My Carbonara was very tasty and creamy and a good portion for a lady. We also had a dessert fruit and chocolate brownie which were equally well presented and tasty. Thank you to you all we will return.

Lovely food, just the lack of atmosphere might be due to it not being overly busy? but it was a Saturday night. maybe just the background music was a little quiet making people talk quieter so people wouldn't listen in i told the waitress it was my friends birthday and as requested a candle was put in her pudding, i was very happy this was remembered and it was in the right dessert it was very much appreciated!

We have been here a number of times, this time I got the impression that main course prices had been reduced resulting in somewhat lesser quality meals, not bad but not as good as we have enjoyed in the past. The service and general atmosphere is good hence the 4 stars but as I say some reservations on the actual meal quality, hope it 's a one off
