North Lake Bear Trap

It was the first place I visited during my stay in the town, plenty of space and beautiful decoration. Sthephanie gave me a good service and very friendly clientele, food and drinks at a reasonable price, I hope to visit again.

My wife and I are from Michigan. Stopped here and had the best time. Friday fish fry is the bomb! Owners are very friendly and the staff is off the charts. Great atmosphere and very friendly local clientele. We will definitely stop in again when we are in the area. Thanks for the great food and an awesome evening!

Great food, great company. The owners have done an amazing job to make the place a community bar. They put so much effort into making anyone feel welcome and have also given a lot back to the community. It's my favorite bar in the area by far, and that's coming from someone raised here. Definitely worth visiting.

Food was great, cheese curds, burgers and wings were good. Like most places these days, they were short handed but they did great once more help arrived. They were very polite and I would definitely go back again.

The Bear Trap consistently delivers a great customer experience. There's almost always a group of locals hanging out at the bar. Sit down, order a beer, and in a few minutes you'll feel right at home. The bartenders and waitstaff are always friendly and attentive. The beer selection for North Lake is decent there's always a few craft brews on tap, including a few Lakefront beers. The food is very good, however I haven't gone deep into the menu. I will say that thefried cod on Fridays is very good the batter isn't to thin or thick the fish is very flakey and tastes great. Things are served SUPER hot, and often there's some unique homemade soup available. No, it's not a big place, and no, it'snot super fast. What's your hurry, anyway? Go there because you want to enjoy a drink and quality, homemade food in a relaxed atmosphere. In a hurry? Go to the drive through at Culver's.
