I was a bit worried that the portion sizes might be smaller due to the lower prices, but I was pleasantly surprised that this wasn't the case. The service was quick and attentive. Personally, I thought the chef was a bit heavy-handed with the dark soy sauce in my Char Kway Teow, but overall, it was still a delicious meal. I especially appreciated the addition of sweet tofu puffs instead of just the regular ones to substitute for Chinese sausages. It’s too common for vegan menu items to be removed without replacements, so it was refreshing to see that the chef at this restaurant didn’t follow that trend. If I had to rate it, I would give it about 3.75 out of 4, but since HappyCow doesn't allow for decimal ratings, I’m just sharing my thoughts!
Some items on the menu can be made vegan. I ordered the classic Malaysian dish, char kuey teow, along with a refreshing glass of iced black tea, and I absolutely loved it! The food and drink were both excellent, and I left feeling completely satisfied. I will definitely return to try more items from the menu!
