I dont know where to begin. Its hard to find GREAT food in florida. BUT this place absolutely knows what they're doing and are amazing at it. Crawfish/shrimp mac n cheese so fire! Brisket.. amazing! Crab cakes.. unbelievable! Country fried steak.. again just phenomenal! Dawn our server was wonderful and very helpful. I will definitely be back next time i visit the area! Soooo goood!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you!

Had the Sunday chicken pot pie special and let me tell you- it was the best pot pie I've ever eaten. Cooked and seasoned to perfection and the crust on top tasted like it was smoked. I also had to try the chicken and dumplings, just because they had it. And wow, best I've had outside my kitchen. Wife got the Hungry Heiffer platter and loved everything on it- particularly the brisket. Highly recommend Darrell's. We'll be back next time we're in Venice.

We had a large group and got to use their meeting room. The food was delicious! This is the peanut butter pie we shared. I tasted the banana pudding. YUM! Everything was good. The service was good too!

It is one of the best restaurants I've eaten at to date since moving to Florida. It's the best smoked menu I've seen. Brisket, chicken, ribs, pulled pork. My hubby had the Hungry Heifer with all the above with 2 sides: baked potato and potato salad and cornbread comes with most meals. Large sides menu, which include the above-mentioned sides plus cucumber sald, black beans, broccoli, fries, and sweet potato, to mention a few. I had liver and onions, sweet potato and broccoli, plus cornbread. Awesome meal and staff service were great. Food arrived quickly. Will definitely go again.

Excellent!! Lauren served up awesome food with a smile! The cornbread was delish. Loved my bean burger..huge portions..the pulled pork was tender and had so much flavor! We will be back! Ohhhh and the sweet potato was cooked to perfection and served with honey butter!!
