Contribuisci feedbackThis restaurant is beautifully located on the waterfront. We were greeted warmly and received excellent, friendly service throughout our meal. We opted for the set menu which was a great deal at £17.95 for 2 courses or £20.95 for 3. I enjoyed the calamari followed by the boeuf bourguignon (the mashed potatoes were especially delicious). The French white wine (cuvee 22) was fantastic. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience and I would highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning.
We visited this restaurant on the first night of our vacation. While we had already eaten in our hotel, we decided to stop in for drinks. The barman provided friendly service, and our drinks were well made. However, we noticed that the tables that had been vacated shortly after we arrived still had not been cleared of glasses.
Service was impeccable, the eating was excellent, great atmosphere and ambiente. Special cried to joy and dom who helped a family member in need. they came so fast and helped to lead the secret manover. crisis is turned off! if management sees this, they can. they reward them for over and beyond.
Visited Weston Super-Mare today for osterbank holiday and had dinner in the bistrot pierre. the starters were great, but more quantity than quality, but that didn't disturb me too much. the mains were all well amused, I had the sunday and it. was absolutely beautiful, only the complaining is there was very little heavy. will be coming back!
Visited ostern Sunday evening, the third time that I was here, and while the other places were great this time it was quite bad in the did, I called before to the family who came in their newport location for this week and suggested it was canceled. we were a group of five, and ordered different things from their Sunday menu, which looks like a great worth on the face. the “Steak Frites” who had three of us for the main courses, however, were quite lazy, and while I know that a bavette cut will not be like a sirloin, it should not look like cat food. interesting, as a few other reviews mentioned here have this court best avoided keeping it full when I were them. the starters were okay, nothing but that. when the waiter came to clean the teller away, he noticed that one of the meals had not really been touched, so I asked him if there was something he can do because that is two steaks were not eaten, he said “I have a service check” and I said “what is that” he then said after rolling his eyes easily: “I have made a service check and they have understood nothing” none of the less after I told him that, I asked him if he would pay for the chaos that was on the teller than a bit of steak masquerading, and then he said he would ask what he could do. he is obviously trained to push back, but obviously not trained for customers who challenge this setting. he took away the teller, with a cheerful smile, and then he watched him, his smile disappeared when he approached the kitchen in a huff. then, he came out of the kitchen, went backwards, with our left over meat on a fresh dish, and then into a room with him that I suspect was the manager office. I think he did this because he thought we wouldn't see it? Unfortunately, it is quite unusual to see a waiter, the backwards so naturally we saw. bonkers. once again, to repeat, we were polite, so nothing mentioned until he deleted the plates, because he then noticed the left over steaks and I saw the face he pulled so that I specifically asked if he could ask if something could be done if it wasn't, no problem, but at least was mentioned. we didn't want to say anything other than again, he noticed, so I did. he came back shortly later and told us that two of the steaks had been removed from the bill. great, and I was glad it was recognized. what then happened was a steady supply of the attitude of him would not come back to the table, and took over a girl. Even if we tried to get his attention, he seemed more interested in wearing a whole baguette for the next twenty minutes, I am very sorry if a question honestly annoyed him answer, but honestly they do not expect the people to lie when they pay for a meal. the restaurant became a bit quieter, and then very cold almost like it a conscious application of the air conditioning above our opposite to bring us out. it wasn't even late) again no one was rude, in any form or form of our group only fixed that something had to be done. we paid, and left (unnecessarily everything) a tipp in cash, from which the girl waiter was remarkable. when we left, we were going to say goodbye and thanks to the male waiter (white/blondes hair) who just looked at us how something on his shoe I took (maybe it was steak? and went away. That's okay. you win a few, you're gonna take a few. but he tortured me. in short, yes, they took two steaks from the bill, which was necessary, and in no way “good of them” the posture, which however slowly blows up, and of course, that go backwards in an effort to hide eating was like something I would see on a sketch show. should you go here? probably consider the Italians who continue down on the coast real gastfreundschaft, consistently great food, and open, zero attitude.
