A vegan sushi lovers dream! We ordered last Friday evening on deliveroo and yum so fresh and tasty! Every bite was incredible. We ate a variety of rolls, I loved the time taken to ensure that presentation of the food was on point. Try the Dragon Roll its amazing!! Honestly as a vegan for over 5 yrs, it's nice to see a sushi place that is solely vegan and the prices are very reasonable.
It was amazing to eat something similar to the texture of salmon but not the same, which is good. Really really good sushi and the dragon roll was awesome too.
Naively stumbled in this place just to find out they have not made vegan sushi in the cooler, but only veggie boxes (contains omlette nigiri.) they can probably make avocado sushi etc. for workers, but then I discovered the vegan poke peel, vegan chicken teriyaki and vegan chicken cats very much on their menu.
This place is part of the trend of non-vegan places deceptively listing a separate full vegan business on delivery services. It tricks us into thinking this is a vegan business when it's not. This is just You Me Sushi offering some vegan items, which aren't very good, and it's really unclear what they're made of (as it's not listed anywhere.. Usually I make sure I only order delivery from vegan only places, as I don't want contamination or mistakes leading to me receiving non-vegan food that would need to be thrown away. But I got tricked here and regretted it. The food is not very good, I have no idea what the vegan fish is made of (or even if it's really vegan) and it doesn't really taste like anything. The packaging is non-recyclable plastic, but that's unsurprising coming from a place that sells fish, as they clearly don't care about destroying the oceans. Updated from previous review on 2021-04-24
