Was on the way to the city on the way home and was looking for a place for a quick bite. What a beautiful surprise! Friendly staff, wonderful food, amazing desserts and beautiful decor. Even brought home cupcakes for our children. I wish we lived closer, it would be a place where we would always go past!!! A real jewel!
This is a great place to hang around with little kids. They really thought to invite it for the children; Toys, coloring, games all in a small corner where they can play while their parents on coffee and munch sandwiches nearby. They even remembered having two step stools in the bathroom; one for the sink and one for the hand dryer! Coffee good. Eating decent.
I didn't know what to expect when I went to lunch with a friend who had been here and ordered the queue that was fast ready and encouraged me to go to my decision with the ten dollar tuna. We were both so busy talking (and she had finished her quiche when I sat down because it was good and she was hungry) to notice that my sandwich had never been made. My friend just wanted to leave when I had to remind the staff that they never made my order for which I had paid and now they could just do it? They seemed to be confused instead of giving me an undisputed excuse, but understood and I took the tuna sandwich on what seemed like a French baguette house and it was a delicious masterpiece. I'd like to enjoy this sandwich again, thank you.
This is a very cute cafe if you're looking to have a coffee and a nice little play area for kids. Their quiche was pretty good, and the other items on the menu looked good too. Probably would choose somewhere else for a breakfast/lunch outing with friends, because it's just counter service. Would be good to do some reading or work/studying.
