The reason they had given this gift card to me was I found some hair in my food. Instead of offering me a refund they offered me a gift card. A gift card of equal value to what I paid. You would think that having such a gross experience of finding hair in my food that they would offer to throw a few extra dollars on the gift card. To start off there was one person working when I went in today. That person was nice but they seemed to be a new employee who didn't really know what they were doing when running the register. I'm assuming the reason only one person was there was because the owner is cheap and wants to save money on labor, so they schedule one at a time. Considering every time I've gone in previously there has never been more than one person working. I got 3 tacos and a quesadilla. When I got to the register to pay the person had no idea how to run a gift card. So they swiped it multiple times in hopes that it would work. At that point they still couldn't figure it out so they called the owner. The owner ended up figuring it out after about 20 minutes. I felt bad for the 4 people behind me waiting in line. Once the owner figured it out the cashier told me I owed five bucks and change. To which I informed them that the gift card had more than enough to cover the full total. So I suggested that it may have gone through when they were swiping it over and over. The owner still on the phone chimed in and said that didn't happen so I told them that gift card had almost $20 on it to which she gave me some stupid speech about how she's been doing this for 7 years and she knew what she was talking about. I didn't feel like arguing so I paid the remaining balance and left. I will NEVER go back to Hot Head Burritos and I will make sure to steer away any and all people who ask about them.
The food was cold. The cheese wasn't melted by the time we got it. The quesadilla was soggy and hardened like it had been cooked a hour before. YUK!
Never heard of this place before, and daughter wanted to try it. It's like a Subway for tacos, burritos, etc. Staff could have been friendlier, and it was difficult to hear them over background noises. But the food was good, and the wait wasn't long. Everywhere looked clean, including the bathrooms. Lots of parking, don't park on the Dunkin Donuts side as it's hard to get back out with the traffic.
The food was great , it was fresh and delicious. Will go back again.
The food is really good here and Bonnie is a wonderful human. She's always happy to see me. Who doesn't love melted cheese.
