The manager was very negative and rude when I requested some plain sliced bread. The serving staff were polite but seemed understaffed. The dessert table was also disappointing in terms of variety and quality. Overall, I was very disappointed. My previous experiences at this restaurant had been much better in the past.
I had two buffet-style meals at this restaurant, dinner and brunch. The service was minimal, so I can't speak to how it would have been if I needed assistance. The food was mediocre and could have been better with improved cooking techniques. For dinner, the pasta was overcooked and falling apart, while the sweet potato dish had potential but was overcooked. The rolls were bland and dry. Brunch had better options, with good eggs benedict and a standout frisee salad. The dessert spread was disappointing, with nothing special to offer. Overall, the restaurant has potential with its unique space, but the food needs improvement, especially for a grand hotel like this. It could be a great location for events, if only the food was better prepared.
