The desserts, however, were in a league of their own. We all opted for the mini puddings, but they seemed to be regular size. The Eton Mess was delightful, the brownie with ice cream was very good, and the crumble was crispy and fruity, paired with wonderful custard. The espresso coffees were a bit bitter, but they were served piping hot. I would suggest offering a small liqueur with these mini puddings, as we’ve enjoyed that combination in France, and it’s a great way to round off a meal. I was a bit disappointed to see that The Windhover has turned into a chain restaurant, somewhat like a more upscale Harvester. The menu a few years back was far more unique. Overall, it was a pleasant lunch, but I'm not sure I’ll be in a hurry to return.

We made a reservation here for Valentine's Day, and despite the restaurant being crowded, we had a lovely meal and received excellent service. Thank you very much!

I made a reservation through the Open Table app, which was confirmed, but when I arrived at The Windhover, they were unaware of it. Fortunately, I was able to secure a table in the bar area.

Very dissapointing , sat in the waitress served area for a change , no attention at all . The windhover is our local , but from now on we will be looking for a new one
