Sri Melaka Vegetarian - Northbridge

Rendang was delicious, but service is terrible and also not trustworthy. I ordered two dishes. the dame (actual owner) delivered the two containers (rendang and a curry court.) when I came home, I found that the second court had a slightly stumble taste that we consumed and was sick the next day.

I am vegetarian and my friend is gluten intolerant, we came to lunch it was half an hour before them where closed, my friend asked the waiter what was good and what was gluten-free. she said I'm gonna make her voice rolls satay sticks. then I also arrange spring rolls and rendang . the rendang was a little sharp but full of taste. we had spinach too. the restaurant it itself is quiet small. but I highly recommend it. it's a little pricy, I didn't expect it to be $30 a head for the amount of food!

Best vego restaurant I was there. highly recommended. the best dishes are the fried oyster mushroom, sambalfisch, kapitan huhn, kokosreis and beancurd gans. not sure why the old dame has copied so much, but she was always beautiful for us, smiles and checks back to see if we need more. After we have read negative reviews about their overloading customers, we have always calculated the total bill to ensure that we are not saddened, and so far it has not happened. she never accuses us for the tee and offers us additional rice without additional fee. Disgusting business practices of the owner. I really wanted to like this place, but it was probably one of my best badest experiences in perth, especially because the owner systematically and friedly tears customers especially older people. Sri Melaka is a mix of Malaysian Chinese style cuisine and vegetarian goodness. The menu is vegetarian, however, for all the meat eaters and vegetable haters, do not allow this to deter you, as the food is delicious! The restaurant uses what is called 'mock ' meat, most likely made from soy, but it is 100% enjoyable and tastes like the real thing (trust me, I made the mistake of believing I just ate real fish on my first visit).
