Oriental Kitchens - Northumberland

We were on holiday in Wooler. Got a Takeaway from here. I have to say that the English meal of Chicken and chips with mushrooms and gravy, is the best that we have ever had . It was absolutely delicious .

I visited this restaurant while on vacation nearby. I called in my order and it was ready in just 30 minutes. The portions were very large and reasonably priced, and the food was delicious. I would definitely recommend this place and will be returning next time we are in town!

A few years ago, we went to this restaurant and the food was okay. What really stood out was the incredibly large portions at a good price. However, things have changed since then. The portions are now smaller, prices have increased significantly, and the food was mediocre. The chili beef was tough, overly salty, and inedible. Overall, we were quite disappointed with our experience.

I attempted to contact the Asian kitchen by phone but was unable to get through, so I decided to visit in person. After waiting in line to place my order, they informed a local woman in front of me that it would be a 20-minute wait. However, when it was my turn, they suddenly announced that they would not be taking any more orders for the next 2 hours, despite a line of people still waiting to order. There was no apology for the inconvenience, and I found this business practice to be completely unacceptable. I would not return to this restaurant even if it were the last Chinese restaurant on Earth.

Ordered the food, told it would be 20 minutes which it was. Just about enough time to read the whole menu. Not the most refined Chinese cooking but a good feed all the same. Would we go back? Yes, hopefully on Saturday.
