Blue Sparrow Kitchen - Norwich

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. My friends and I enjoyed the breakfast sandwiches, and we all agreed that the ingredients tasted fresh and seemed to be sourced from local farms. My girlfriend and friend also tried the pastries, and they were delicious. It's a great little spot to relax and enjoy your coffee, and the staff were very friendly. I highly recommend it!

My husband and I visited this restaurant for the first and only time on November 11, 2021. We placed our order, only to be informed that one of the items was unavailable, so we adjusted our order accordingly. However, the item was never removed from our bill. When my husband brought this up with the employee, she became extremely defensive and argumentative. They claimed to have corrected the transaction, but when I checked at home, I realized they hadn’t done it correctly. The next day, I called and was told that they couldn't fix it and suggested I email the owners. To date, I still haven't received a resolution or response, and this has been ongoing since November 24, 2021. I generally support small businesses, but as someone over 65, I expect to be treated with respect and not taken advantage of.

This place is a hidden gem! It’s a bit tricky to find, tucked away behind a shopping center near the post office. I tried the spicy Raven breakfast sandwich, and it was fantastic. The homemade chorizo was flavorful and not too greasy, and the pickled jalapeños were made in-house as well, adding a nice crunch. Overall, it’s a wonderful combination!

I visited Norwich/Hanover and made Blue Sparrow my home base. The staff was very friendly, the cappuccino and mocha were great, and they had some great baked goods, especially the vegan apple carrot muffin. Just like the city of Norwich itself, this is a beautiful café.

This was our first time going here and we got take out breakfast sandwiches. We ordered them online and they texted us once they were ready. I got the Heron on an asiago bagel, with avocado, spinach, egg and tomato. It was very tasty and I am happy with what I chose. They look like they have many other vegetarian options for breakfast or lunch which I'd love to come back to try those another day.
