Debut - Norwich

We had such a lovely evening celebrating 40 yrs since we all met at City college.food was absolutely delicious, all served by very attentive staff.Thankyou for making our evening enjoyable.

We have been wanting to book for a few years now since hearing an advert on the radio. However with Covid we had to wait and it was worth the wait. Everything about the experience was fabulous, between us four we have been to many different restaurants all over the world and this has to be one of the best. The staff (students) were on top form ensuring we were well looked after without being overwhelming. We were planning a revisit while at the table. On the food and drink everything was served and prepared to a high standard and was a delight to enjoy. Thank you and well done.

Great food friendly service pleasant atmosphere if these are the restraint staff of the future then the industry is in safe hands

Last night was my first experience of the debut restaurant. It certainly will not be my last. The service, food and ambience was fabulous. Beautifully cooked and presented courses. The chorizo scotch egg just wow! Lovely waitress. I wish all those youngsters the very best in their future careers, they certainly made a lovely evening for us and all the other diners. Can't wait to visit again!

Wandering round the corner with friends for a Debut Lunch is always a winner. The restaurant was very quiet with relatively new servers, ours was confident and chatty with no nerves whatsoever. The starters were split over the two choices both excellent, mains all went to the Spiced Cod which was sublime, subtly curried and full of flavour, desserts were all Crème Brûlée which was one of the best I have tasted. All enjoyed with a bottle of Adnam’s Pinot Grigio. We then had a return visit a week later with some friends from away. Again the restaurant was very quiet, there was a change of servers who were very capable and pleasant. We knew the menu would be as the previous week and it was just as enjoyable, beautifully presented and tasting superb. The freshly baked bread; three choices; is also excellent. Thanks to all at Debut, we’re greatly looking forward to Christmas lunch.
