I had a fruit scone which was excellent and my daughter enjoyed her (big) slice of carrot cake. Sausage rolls looked good too so maybe next time. A really good little independent cafe.
For morning coffee and cake, or lunch (get there early) this cafe and its charming owner is a place to find and visit. Our go-to eatery when visiting Norwich. Tucked away in magdellan street find it and enjoy a trip down memory lane. No posh shops or national chain stores here. But great for memorabilia and vintage clothing. Thirty minutes spent here will leave you chilled and relaxed. Only Norfolk can do that. If you are hungry try the BLT and add a sausage roll. Else share a sandwich and a cake. The fruit scones are to die for. Need say no more check it out for yourself. But get there early.
What an amazing find, just out on my own doing a little shopping and I needed some refreshment. Lovely service ,smooth coffee and the best cake ever. Meringue, apple and blueberry bake was so tasty.
The service was excellent and the food was good. Not a great deal of choice when we went, but my slice of Pizza was super and the added salad very tasty. Well worth dropping in for a snack or maybe a slice of the lovely looking cake.
Last week was the second time I had visited La Petite. It was well worth the visit. My husband and I had freshly baked cheese scones still warm. We returned for lunch and had a lovely panini each. My daughters had excellent chicken salad sandwiches. Afterwards we had a fantastic apple and meringue tray bake. My husband enjoyed the carrot cake so much so he thought it was the best he had. The coffee is good quality, the cakes all baked by the friendly proprietor on the premises. I would highly recommend a visit.
