The Birdcage Pub, Norwich

The restaurant was extremely loud and had a bartender who appeared uninterested and intimidating. I entered but quickly left due to the excessively loud music, which made it difficult to enjoy a relaxing afternoon visit. It was a shame because the seating and interior were nice, but the overall atmosphere was not conducive to socializing.

The staff at this restaurant were friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere was nice, although the music was a bit loud for my taste as I prefer to have conversations in a pub. It was convenient to be able to order fish and chips from the nearby Grosvenor Fish Bar and have them brought over to enjoy in the pub. The Fizz and Chips Friday deal, which includes prosecco, is a fantastic idea. I will definitely come back again.

Great atmosphere at this pub! Unfortunately, the staff was very rude and the service was terrible. If you enjoy being treated poorly and receiving no drinks, then this is the place for you!

Shout out to the guy wearing the Kraftwerk Tee! A very polite member of your staff. A lovely pub with great beers on tap. Very rustic and relaxing.

We visited the Birdcage for a Drag show and it was certainly not what we expected. They advertise a ballroom but it is in fact a very small room with standing room only apart from a couple of tressle benches brought out just before the show started. Tlhe maority of the audience were dressed in drag as well as the acts and there were far too many people allowed in.We literally had to push our way through the crowd to get to the bar in the main part of the pub which wasn't easy. We were on a Hen Night though and it did turn out to be a bit of a giggle!
