Gelatissimo - Norwood

Adelaide Food Central was welcomed to Gelatissimo Norwood tonight for a gelato masterclass and to sample their two new flavors. Gelatissimo, which originated in Sydney in 2002, has since become the largest gelato franchise globally. With 41 stores in Australia and 16 international locations, they offer around 40 flavors to their customers and unveil a new flavor each month. Gelatissimo has expanded to four locations in Adelaide, including Norwood, Gouger Street, Rundle Street, and Glenelg.

The chocolate sorbet that is 96% sugar free is absolutely fantastic!

The sorbet at Gelatissimo tastes delicious. However, the staff was unfriendly and the service was very slow.

Gelatissimo has opened four shops in Adelaide: Norwood, Gouger Street, Rundle Street, and Glenelg.

I visited this restaurant with my son about a week ago. He ordered chocolate gelato and I chose a large serving of pistachio and rose gelato. When I returned home to enjoy my treat, I was disappointed to find that it was terrible. Confused by the discrepancy from my previous experience, I recalled how much I had enjoyed the pistachio and rose gelato at Gelatissimo in Noosa a few years ago. The gelato there had been exceptional, with large chunks of pistachio and a rich rose flavor. I had even told the staff how much I loved it during my visit. My time in Noosa had been unforgettable, and I went back every day to indulge in their delicious gelato. So when I discovered that Gelatissimo had opened a branch in Adelaide, I was eager to visit. Sadly, the gelato I tried at this location did not live up to my expectations.
