Fidel' - Novaya Balakhna

The craft beers here are excellent! I would recommend trying all of them, although I only stuck with the IPA. There is a great variety available and the staff speak English very well.

The cocktails at this restaurant are simply the best.

Took really long time to get the food which was just some bread and baked bone marrow. Also their beer wasn't tasty at all.

This bar in Nizhny Novgorod was a strange and unpleasant experience. It wasn't recommended to us, but we stumbled upon it during our self-guided pub crawl in the city. Upon entering, we immediately felt unwelcome. The bartender informed us that all the tables were booked, but despite that, no one else occupied them during our two-hour stay. We had to sit at the bar instead. The bartender was consistently rude, the glassware was dirty, the beer selection was lacking, and to top it off, they were disrespectful to their colleagues. We do not recommend this place. Instead, try checking out the bar next door in Budapest.
