In the grand velas resort. excellent starters, nets and desserts to die. drink made table side, service 5 stars. nightlife music. a favorite of us!

The whole staff and the chef are superb!!! The singer was absolutely great we enjoyed ourselves soo much for dinner we didnt want to leave !!!

Francisco’s service was incredibly amazing! If you are fortunate enough to have him as you waiter you will enjoy everything in your dinner! Also they sent us a special dessert ti celebrate our anniversary! Food was ok…

As guests at Casa Velas, our stay also included a complimentary dinner at Grand Velas, but it was a long and drawn out three-request process with our Casa Velas concierge to get a reservation. Apparently they were very full that week, but eventually we were...offered a 5:30 p.m. reservation at Piaf. We were the first to arrive (which just felt awkward), and even by the time we finished, the restaurant was not even half full. Also, we thought it was an adults-only restaurant, but when we arrived we discovered that they offer “family friendly” dining from 6:00-8:00 p.m. The decor was a little “cruise ship” “Vegas” for us; it’s not nearly as luxurious a property as the Riviera Maya Grand Velas. Regardless, the food we ordered was delicious and beautifully presented, and the service was polished. After dinner, we strolled around the property and enjoyed a spectacular sunset on the beach, but we were glad to be returning to the serenity of Casa Velas in contrast to the crowds at Grand Velas.

First night here. Very good food and service. Of course we all had the soufflés for dessert! Dress code enforced for 12 and 14 year old. Thankfully the concierge brought us pants!
