Jerk Choice - Oak Forest

This restaurant serves the best jerk chicken I've had to date. The establishment is clean, and the woman at the front desk is incredibly friendly. I will definitely return, regardless of how far it is from my home.

I had the pleasure of dining here for the first time today, and it was fantastic! I ordered the duck with cabbage and sweet potatoes, and it was simply delicious! You've definitely gained a new customer!

I have quite a lengthy review to share, so here it goes. I ordered two jerk chicken dinners and inquired if they had beef patties available that day. The cashier responded with a somewhat annoyed "Yes." Next, I ordered a Jamaican soda. After paying, I took a seat but remembered that I prefer the jerk sauce on the side, so I asked if that could be accommodated. Her response was dismissive: "It always comes on the side," delivered in a condescending tone. I decided to let it go, even though I was quite irritated. When my order was ready, I realized I was unsure whether the soda bottle was a twist-off, so I asked the cashier. Instead of clarifying, she bluntly replied, "YOU can get it off." I acknowledged that I could indeed open it but was simply asking if it twisted off. She then took the bottle from me, opened it, and I thanked her. I traveled all the way from Dolton based on friends' recommendations, but this experience was both my first and my last visit. While the food was enjoyable, the cashier's lack of customer service was disappointing and could harm your business's reputation. If she treats others the same way she treated me, I wouldn't be surprised to see a decline in customers. Interestingly, she could easily have been my great-granddaughter, which made the encounter even more surprising. In summary, I can't fault the food, but I won't be returning. Wishing you all the best. As for parking, it was convenient; I found a spot right in front of the restaurant.

Awesome food and the friendliest service you could hope for!

0 for 2. I've been to this location twice in the last year and both times thw food was nasty. The chicken was chewy and and tasted microwaved. I also notice it didn't sound like any food was being cooked and it didn't smell like it either. The curry sauce was gritty like sand and the cabbage tasted old. Close this place down before someone gets sick
