I've lived in Oak Ridge for years, and I believe that it's the people who make a place truly special. I recently went for breakfast again, and it was delicious as always. The service was excellent; our server Savannah did a fantastic job while taking care of our party of five. The buffet was hot and abundant, offering a great variety of choices. I'll definitely be back soon for the food and the wonderful people who enhance the experience! This place still serves the best breakfast in town, with both a breakfast buffet and a menu to order from. They also have special holiday brunches!
I recently had the pleasure of visiting your wonderful restaurant. The breakfast buffet selection was incredible, offering a vast array of options. Without a doubt, this is the best breakfast in town. The depth of flavors and meticulous attention to detail throughout the experience were outstanding! Our group indulged to the point of being completely stuffed. We even asked our delightful server, Savannah, if the chef could whip up an omelet and some made-to-order eggs, and each time they were served promptly and tasted amazing. I cannot recommend this gem in Oak Ridge highly enough. An exceptional culinary experience awaits you at the Double Tree. Thank you so much for your talent and warm hospitality!
This restaurant is situated within the Double Tree Hotel. We arrived for dinner around 5:30 PM on a Friday and noticed a few patrons at the bar, along with several others, like us, waiting in line for a table. After a lengthy wait, during which no one came to seat us, my husband decided to check with the bartender to see if the restaurant was actually open. We were informed that it was open, but they only had one person handling both the bar and the restaurant. With the bar being quite busy, the restaurant was effectively neglected. We chose this hotel partly for the convenience of not having to leave, but we felt misled about the level of service available. After wasting a considerable amount of time, we ultimately had to venture into town for dinner. I would have rated this experience with a single star, but the bartender was working exceptionally hard to keep things running smoothly, which I truly appreciated. They deserve recognition for their efforts, but I don’t see myself staying at this hotel again.
I ordered the grilled salmon, seasoned rice, and broccoli, but I requested to swap the broccoli for mixed grilled vegetables, and Luke made it happen without a hitch. He also brought us some delicious hot rolls that were sweet and crunchy on the outside, almost reminiscent of fried biscuits. My friend chose a pasta entrée, and we both started with a small Caesar salad before our main courses. Both entrées arrived hot, followed by freshly brewed coffee. Spending some quality time over dinner with a friend during the Super Bowl proved to be a wonderful experience. Just a tip: it's a good idea to call the restaurant ahead of time to check their hours, as some places close early on Super Bowl Sunday, expecting fewer diners while the game is on. — IndyfanJudy
