One of the best bakeries in Oakland their long lines are a testament to this, so listen not to me but to the masses that queue up daily for their pastry perfection.

I recently visited the bakery and found that it was below my expectations. Although the wait time was not long despite the crowds, parking was difficult and seating was limited. While I didn't try their bread, I did sample their baked goods, and while they were okay, I expected more based on their high rating. Overall, while the bakery has potential, my experience left me feeling underwhelmed.

No matter the toppings, the pizza is always excellent and the service is consistently fast (and professional). I would highly recommend the green dipping sauce located in the refrigerator as you walk-in. It adds a lot to the experience. Side Note: For anyone considering ordering online, I would just order in-person. It doesn't really save any additional time since they don't start your order until you arrive. It just allows you to bypass the line which is generally very fast.
