Great food but even better service, the staff is charming and they work really fast, it was an interesting twist on our Oakland experience.
Service 5 starts, food flavor 4.5 starts, portion 3 starts(smaller than other Peruvian places, also the lomo saltado meat was way too thin), environment 3 starts (was a hot day in Oakland and there were no AC had to eat and run away, also music was too loud) coming back to try the cebiche and anticuchos hopefully they have the AC on if not I’m not satying.
Waitress was also the bartender and the hostess. She was very nice. Dinner and drinks were expensive! The drinks were ok, small and could've been stronger. We were all unimpressed by the quality and quantity of the food. They had a dj and salsa dancing in the back, the staff at the door were hella cool! Back area was interesting, large vip areas with sofas and tables but if you get there early, you can snag a table. Lots of unused space, which left everyone else feeling crowded and separated. Didn't have any drinks but the music was good. Lots of good dancers, couples, regulars and a bunch of conceited men who expect you to ask them to dance. Haha.
We just ordered 2 arroz con marisco and it seemed that they divided 1 rice into into 2 portions. Very disappointed, each rice was 28 plus tax!!! 2 shrimps, 1 clam and one mussel. I wish I could get my money back!
