Layonna Vegetarian Health Food

Loads of vegan meat including vegan chicken, vegan garnel, vegan fish, they call it! also some great ingredients for hot pot and so many fantastic products from taiwan. they even wear my favorite taiwanese bbq sauce that I have become addicted to whistle in taiwan years ago

This is the place to find all kinds of Asian mock meat products. some I am too casmic to try (fake garnel, fake seafood: but if they find it here! I like that there is a women of color in the possession of small local business. they also have a large solid glass for powdered vegetables, which is a good sound given the expensive and small veg fabric in the regular supermarkets.

If they are in meat substitute food, layonna is a business where they find things that they probably haven't seen anywhere. layonna himself is personally dedicated to the cache and has operated a veggie restaurant in oakland, but finally decided to sell the mock meat products she had imported. we tend to use these products only in moderation, because many of them are fairly processed and therefore not quite good for health, but a little will hurt no one. it is worth checking if you are in fauxtein.

This place is kind of funny and enchanting. they have nothing but vegmeat. it is an Asian business and the veg meats are all asian, no gardein or something. they have vegan bark jerk and so! the crabs do not really taste like everything, but they are very sweet. it is like eating animal crackers and how, awww, it is so sweet to eat these animals while they know that they actually eat something that does not contain animal meat or secrets. I know that some people are against vegmeat and if they are one of them, more makes for them, I suppose, but layonna veg seems really unique and cool and fun for me. it is small and full of things. I have a kind of barbeque discs that were like ham, and I have them on a Cuban style sammy with a vegan cheese and it wasn't the healthiest thing I ever eaten, but I enjoyed it very much. no need to let animals suffer to fill certain!

Teeny tiny store in Oakland, but a vegan mock meat heaven! You can buy just about anything mock here. My favorites are the 6 lb bag, yes, 6 lb, of mock chicken chunks. Great for stirfrys, and curries. I also love the mock scallops, thai beef, and chicken drum sticks. The also have a small dry goods section, where you can find vegan fish sauce, and yummy jerky. If you have no idea what you are looking at, the people at the register can help you, they have laminate cards explaining what ingredients in various items are. They also can tell you which items are non gmo.
