At first, I was skeptical when I saw lettuce, tomatoes, and bell peppers, as I couldn't see how they could be as flavorful as traditional ramen ingredients like lotus root or bamboo shoots. However, I was pleasantly surprised to be proven wrong. The broth and customizable spice were delicious, and unlike Itani's ramen, the noodles traveled well and maintained their perfect texture. I am thrilled to have found a new favorite ramen spot!
I do not recommend ordering the gluten free noodles at this restaurant. I was expecting rice noodles, but they were not. The noodles were all stuck together and had a flavorless, strange gelatinous texture. The cha shu and ginger were delicious, and the soft boiled eggs were lovely. The broth had a lot of flavor and was enjoyable.
The broth is flavorful with great depth. The portion size is perfect and the egg is perfectly cooked in the hot broth. It's a great value for the price.
Veggie ramen was probably 4/5 for me, the broth was surprisingly rich and had a slight sesame flavor. The toppings were a little odd, like a spring salad mix and tomatoes (kinda wish they just kept traditional toppings like bamboo, fungus, etc. . But overall it was decent and tasty
Chicken Spicy TanTan Men was delicious. The delivery packaging was really intuitive and useful. The chicken was a little over-ground (almost like a paste instead of normal ground meat), but this was otherwise a fantastic meal we'd order again.
