Contribuisci feedbackWhile I prefer to support vegan companies, I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of veggie options and service at Neecha Thai. Eating was ready for FAST. The pumpkin curry was amazingly tasteful. There were a variety of tofu and wheat gluten (since) protein options. I'll definitely enjoy her food if I want Thai. They have vegan options for many of their dishes. The Vegan Tom Ka soup delights every time my taste buds (including my mind). The vegan spits are always good and the pumpkin cure is delicious. Every dish I had from them is always a pleasure, but these are my go-to.
Numerous Veggie options are explicitly stated on the menu that they do not use fish sauce for veg dishes. You can also ask them not to make vegetarian/vegan, like the pad Kee Mao, which is listed only with meat on the menu.
I would give this place 5 stars if I could! Local vegetarians and vegans (and omnivores alike) have known about this place for years. You have a HUGE Veg/Vegan menu: the grandmother develops vegetarian versions of traditional dishes and they simply taste amazing! The staff is known and attentive and the service is great! This place is packed hours during dinner and does not take reservations. Try to go during lunch and order one of their specialties that they make vegan for you when you ask. My order: veggie skewers, vegan Tom Yum, and vegan pumpkin curry with roasted tofu. Make it a night with a movie on the street at the magnificent Grand Lake Theater.
Can't speak on the ambience because I ordered Togo. I got Chicken Pad Thai and I'm not a fan. There was no flavor and no spice. Very bland but you get a good portion. I double checked to see if I could've asked for it spicier but they don't have that option online and don't allow for special requests??? I probably won't be back :
