The food was good. We dis family style sobwe have about 6 dishes to taste. But that was a mistake. Cuz, while the dishes on their own are delicious, but each dish has the same basic taste, so it is overwhelming if you try more than 1 dish.
One of the few Khmer restaurants in the area, Phnom Penh had a pretty good choice of dishes and a cozy atmosphere. The Samlor macchou kreun was sub-par, and only offered with seafood option, but the Moarn katis krahome was delicious, though a moderate portion. The Jake Chien was super good and well paired with the ice. Not as authentic as I want, but overall a solid B meal.
Excellent food, good prices and sizeable portions. I use to go to the restaurant when it was on Alice St and this new location seems to have let them grow in many ways, including making much more flavorful dishes. Staff was helpful and attentive even though they were really busy.
