Quickly Bubble Tea - Oakland

I love LOBE (Loving Otay Big Butt Buckwheat Eating) at this restaurant! The word play is so clever. The shrimp rolls are delicious and satisfying. Can't wait to have more!

A big shout out to the owner, who is a real MVP! The popcorn chicken and slushies are delicious and everything is clean. The food is fresh daily and the atmosphere is chill.

The food at this restaurant is always hot and fresh, but seating is limited. The drinks are good, although not as impressive as those at other establishments in the city such as QTea Bar on Lake Park Street or iTea on Park Street in Alameda.

I came in order the calamari rings. There were nothing but guys on shift. They were nice but my food sucked. My calamari rings were hard and tough to the bite and I was VERY displeased as I don't have money to waste!!! I actually want a refund or another order of rings!! Usually when I come, the ladies are on shift they are fried seasoned perfectly!

Came here for the second time, mainly to try their popcorn chicken.For the second time I am disappointed in the boba/pearls here. Not only do you get a really hard/chewy one between the soft ones every now and then (aka stale and old boba that should've been thrown out), but they can't seem to get my order right either. Today, I ordered a Thai tea, tiger tea, and chocolate tea. When I received my order the Thai tea and tiger tea look identical, so I asked if this is the tiger tea. I was told it is. I tried it and it's definitely a Thai tea. Even tried the Thai tea and found it to taste identical. If you don't know how to make a tiger tea, just say so. Please don't lie.The popcorn chicken was not as well-seasoned as the fries that came with it (odd). The food came with a Mayo dip (also odd) and I packed the spice powder to go because they evidently don't pack it for you.Compared to a year ago, it looks like food prices have gone up by about $2 each (so the menu items on Yelp are about $2 cheaper than reality). The drinks have not increased in price but perhaps that's why the quality is lacking. Would not recommend.
