Smokin Woods Bbq - Oakland

The meat is delicious, but the beside courts are terrible. they taste as if they were from a dan and the koleslaw lacks taste. the crowded under serviced dining room encourages visitors to order the QR code, but it didn't work? for the prices they charge for mealtimes, do they need to improve on their side dishes and plastic utensils?

We have shown ourselves in time for our reservation on a double date and there were less than 10 customers sitting and we waited for over 15 minutes until they wipe a table for us. the personal has literally surpassed the customers at this place. Once we had set ourselves, we were never waiting for it. Finally my man went into the bar to ask how to get service and we were informed that we have to order in the front window with cash money or use the QR code to order by phone. the food finally came and it was delicious. it was suddenly busy and a worker called alicia told us that we had to move our table to the incoming party with a reservation. I was ashamed and completely embarrassed that I chose this place to bring people and friends. I recommend this place only for the trip.

Really excellent bbq, probably the best brisket I had in a long time.

I love smokin woods! Food is always so delicious and the staff are very friendly.

Outside seating is in the street, between bike and car lanes. Busy window service at noon, we waited about 40 minutes for our food. Worth the wait.
