Not all the offerings might be at the level of the best Korean restaurant that you might have been to, but, as far as Oberlin students and locals are concerned, it 's a solid, inexpensive option. In particular, small bowls are still $5 after all these years. They 're appetizer-sized boxes with a generous helping of rice, a fried egg, a skimpy portion of the meat of your choice, and generous amounts of salt. Still, not bad for the price, and actually a decent size if you 're watching calories and portion sizes. In addition to the hot, made-to-order offerings, most of the store sells frozen and packaged Korean and Asian goods. A nice resource to have here in this small town so that you don 't have to venture further afield for similar items.
Delicious food in a small Asian grocery store at a great value. The kid got Korean fried chicken, and I got the five dollar rice bowl with bulgogi and cucumber Kim Chi. Great value and very tasty meal
Fast, affordable, yummy, and it always satisfies my craving for dumplings or a rice bowl!!
I love Kim's so much. But this one guy who works there is the worst. Doesn't wear his mask and is rude to all the customers. other than that kim's is perfection
