Delicious freshly cooked food with very friendly staff and good service. We had a lovely toastie and beef burger, with curly fries which were just fabulous thick but still crispy. Great choice of teas too.
I wasn't expecting Japanese options when I walked in, but boy am I not disappointed! The chicken karaage was fantastic, and so were the homemade curly fries. The only thing I could think to make it better would be a cabbage salad instead of lettuce, but that's just me being picky. The owner explained that he had worked in Japan and sounded really passionate about the food. I'll definitely be back again Edit: went back again and the salad was a cabbage lettuce mix. Yum!
The staff are very attentive, helpful and friendly! The menu is short and sweet but due to dietary restrictions, I was able to customise a simple meal. This particular cafe has gluten free bread! For a small town where not even the supermarket had gf bread, this is truly amazing and very much appreciated!!
Nice little cafe to visit while out on the road. The coffee and food were quite good.
