Our host was an older woman whose name we regrettably never got but she was just wonderful!! So welcoming, made excellent suggestions and even did her best to explain in English what the items were. She even drew examples when she couldn’t think of the correct English word for deer and elk. She chatted with us and just made our dinner experience so great. The food and wine was also unbelievable. We each chose the Wild special of elk or deer. Highly recommend!!
Wir haben lange nach einem Restaurant mit frischen Forellen gesucht und nun hier gefunden. Forelle blau, einfach Spitze, mein Mann wird dies immer wieder bestellen. Auch die Kalbspiccata mit Risotto und frischen Eierschwämmli sind ein Gedicht, ich habe noch selten so gute Piccata gegessen. Bedient wurden wir von der Chefin des Hauses, welche den Gästen die Wünsche von den Augen abliest und sich beim nächsten Besuch noch genau erinnert, was man gerne mag oder nicht. Nur zu empfehlen, wir gehen bestimmt immer wieder hin.
Der Frohsinn in Oberriet ist ein gemütliches Restaurant. Wir waren in der gemütlichen Gartenwirtschaft und wurden durch eine ältere Dame bedient, die wohl nicht vom Fach ist ; . Sie hat sich jedoch bemüht. Das Essen war sehr gut.

Very good food. You can tell that the chef has a lot of experience and has already cooked in many famous restaurants. especially the trout I can highly recommend!
