Moevenpick Hotel Restaurant

We booked last minute, were able to check in early and Mohammed at the front desk went out of his way to accommodate every wish and request, the bar tender is amazing even tho as all hotels they were under staffed great rooms and working...AC :

This review is for the bar portion of the restaurant as we did not dine. The bar is decent-sized with separate tables if you do not want to actually sit at the bar. If you want fast service, sit at the bar! A friend, Erika,...and I sat at a table the first (of many time we visited. Waited and waited for the server but she seemed too busy. We moved to the actually bar and this is where we met Ayhan, the main bartender. Ayhan was such an awesome bartender, making concoctions that were not on the drink menu. And always with a smile. Not kidding, by the end of our stay at the hotel, we were like old friends. Yes, there were some hiccups when a large group of us stopped by for several drinks. The servers seemed confused by our large order and some did not receive their drinks. I immediately went to the bar and asked Ayhan to help, and he did so immediately. At breakfast twice plus lunch/dinner buffets as part of the conference I was attending. All was great but the wide variety of granola's to mix with my yogurt in the morning was a real plus.

Breakfasts seem expensive at €20, but if you're hungry you can eat a lot, it's actually great VFM. A very varied, attractively prepared breakfast from fry up to fruit!

Good service and well prepared meals. Not bad for a hotel restaurant. Th steak was prepared perfectly and the dessert selection is all ice cream creations.
