Scrambles Cafe - Ocala

From afar, this is the best breakfast and lunch spot in all of Ocala. Unlike many places that rely on heavy fats, the food here is fresh and flavorful. The restaurant is clean, and the service is reminiscent of that warm, classic American mom’s touch. The owner is hands-on and dedicated to running the business with care! While I recommend going there around 3 PM, we’re willing to adjust our schedule just to dine here.

This is a fantastic local breakfast spot that offers a wide variety of dishes at reasonable prices! Our group of four enjoyed a meal here on a Tuesday morning in January 2023. We were seated right away, and our drink orders were taken promptly. When we had questions about the menu, our server was friendly and helpful, providing great recommendations. The portion sizes were very generous, and the food was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend stopping by for breakfast if you're in the area. We particularly loved the conjured bovine rabbit and biscuits and gravy.

We went for breakfast based on a local recommendation from Ocala, and the place was bustling with a line when we arrived. We waited about ten minutes to be seated, which was perfectly fine! However, it took quite a while for our order of a skillet and an omelette to arrive. But once we got our food, it was so delicious that we could easily overlook the slow service. Everything was made with fresh ingredients!

Absolutely delicious. Omelet. Potato. Biscuit. I want to go back to pumpkin pancakes. The food delivery was not fast, but relax, it is worth waiting. Taylor was friendly, helpful and professional

I've eaten here twice, and if I lived here, I'd be a regular. It's family-owned and run, and people here love it. I had the quiche yesterday. It comes with fruit and an actual salad, not just some greens on the side. I've made quiche before, but now I know what it's supposed to taste like. Very light and custardy.
